About the Game:

Sakura Melody is a casual simulation game developed and published by Winged Cloud. Players take on the role of Jin (name changeable), a young man who has just entered the idol industry. Jin has admired idols since childhood, and now his dedication has paid off: his company has put him in charge of a newly formed idol unit. The three girls in the group each have their own distinct personality: Aiko is cheerful and outgoing, Ibuki is quiet and reserved, and Chiyoko is aloof and proud. Though they share the same dream—to become idols—they hold conflicting opinions on how to achieve it, making agreement difficult. On paper they are a team, but in reality they are anything but!

Jin has just one month to shape these girls, manage their daily lives, and help them gain fans and funding. They can take on jobs at the local talent agency, with success determined through match-3 puzzle gameplay, thereby raising their profile. One month later, a grand competition awaits, and only the most talented idol group will claim the crown. While helping them realize their dreams, if Jin can also win enough of their affection, finding love might not be out of the question.

Character Introductions:

Aiko
A genki girl with an ever-present smile. She is always willing to help others and often mediates disputes between Ibuki and Chiyoko. Born in a small fishing village, Aiko grew up helping her parents run their inn, making her an excellent homemaker and a master of miso soup. Despite her natural optimism, she is a bit self-conscious about her rural upbringing and can be overwhelmed by Tokyo's glitz, occasionally needing a shoulder to lean on.

Ibuki
A girl of few words who often speaks bluntly, making those around her uncomfortable. She especially loves to tease Chiyoko, and the two bicker the moment they meet, leaving Aiko busy as the peacemaker. Jin is Ibuki's second favorite target for teasing; she goes out of her way to flirt with him relentlessly, and only she knows how much of it is genuine.

Chiyoko
An aloof, wealthy heiress who considers herself a cut above the rest. Her father is the president of a major electronics company, and her family is quite affluent. However, she detests relying on family influence and is determined to become an idol on her own merit. Chiyoko also believes she was a cat in a past life, peppering her speech with "meow" for reasons unknown.
