Game Introduction

BPM: BULLETS PER MINUTE is a rhythm-action game that masterfully blends roguelike elements with first-person shooting. Developed by Auroch Digital and published by Croteam, it ingeniously synchronizes musical beats with combat gunplay to create a unique gaming experience. Players take on the role of a warrior venturing into the underworld dungeons to retrieve a lost heart. They must move, jump, and shoot in time with the BPM, fighting their way through hordes of enemies to the thunderous roar of heavy metal rock music.

Game Features

- Rhythm-Driven Combat: The core gameplay is perfectly synchronized with the music's BPM. Players must move, shoot, and dodge to the beat. Perfect timing grants additional damage bonuses.
- Roguelike Randomness: Levels, enemies, and rewards are completely reset upon each death. The permadeath mechanic provides a high level of challenge.
- Extensive Arsenal: Over 15 distinct weapons, ranging from pistols to heavy artillery, combined with different skill trees to create personalized builds.
- Gothic Metal Aesthetic: Dark and eerie dungeon environments blend Norse mythology with demonic hellscapes, creating a unique visual style.
- Dynamic Music System: All in-game sound effects and background music are perfectly synchronized. Every shot, explosion, and kill lands precisely on the beat.
- Multiplayer Mode: Supports two-player cooperative play, allowing you to embark on an underworld adventure with a friend.

Gameplay

Upon starting the game, players begin their journey in procedurally generated dungeons. Each room must be cleared of all enemies to unlock the next entrance. During combat, the current BPM rhythm is displayed at the edge of the screen. Players must follow the prompts: jumping on the beat grants hang-time bonuses, while shooting on the beat increases fire rate and damage.

The game includes multiple modes: Single-player Adventure, Two-player Co-op, and Endless Challenge. As players progress deeper into the levels, the difficulty increases, enemy variety expands, and boss battles become more intense. Players earn gold by defeating enemies, which can be used to purchase new weapons, armor, and skill upgrades at shops between levels. The character features multiple skill paths, including specializations like the weapon-focused Weapon Master, the melee-oriented Berserker, and the balanced Guardian, ensuring a fresh strategic experience with each playthrough.
