30 Years in the Making – Fight! For the Future of This Planet

The Super Robot Wars series is a simulation RPG where robots from various anime series transcend the boundaries of their original works to unite and battle against common enemies.

Players watch the story unfold before battles in the Adventure Phase. Upon entering the Strategy Simulation Phase, they individually control robots deployed on the map to defeat enemies. Battles proceed in alternating player and enemy turns. The player moves and fights with their robots first, followed by the enemy's turn. Clearing a stage involves destroying all enemies deployed on the map, after which the player enters the Strategy Phase. Here, funds and points earned in battle can be used to enhance robots and train pilots. After completing the Strategy Phase, the Adventure Phase for the next stage begins.

Gameplay

Players experience two core phases in the game:

Adventure Phase: Watch interactive story scenes between characters from different series to understand the battle context and narrative progression.

Strategy Simulation Phase: Engage in turn-based combat on a tactical grid-based map by operating robots. The player moves and commands their robots to attack enemies first. After defeating all enemies, the Strategy Phase begins. In this phase, players can use funds earned in battle to purchase equipment and enhance their units, and use points to develop pilot skills, preparing for the next stage.
