Game Introduction

Lost Castle is a roguelike side-scrolling action-adventure game developed by the domestic studio Hunter Studio. Players take on the role of a brave knight, venturing into a lost castle corrupted by dark forces, embarking on a thrilling exploration journey through randomly generated dungeons. The game combines the randomness of roguelike elements with the precise controls of hardcore action games. Players must face waves of monsters and bosses across multiple levels, collect various weapons and items, and continuously enhance their abilities. The game supports both single-player and multiplayer co-op modes, allowing players to team up with friends to battle side by side and challenge the evil forces lurking deep within the castle.

Gameplay

Players control their character's movement through left/right navigation, jumping, and attacking buttons as they advance through the dungeons. The game adopts a level-based design, with each level consisting of several rooms. Players must defeat all enemies in a room to unlock the door to the next area. The map randomly contains treasure chests, merchants, altars, and hidden rooms. Players can obtain equipment by opening chests, trade with merchants to purchase items, or enhance their gear at altars.

During combat, players must skillfully use dodges and blocks to evade enemy attacks and seize opportunities to counterattack. After defeating a certain number of enemies, a boss battle will be triggered. These powerful foes possess unique attack patterns and phase changes, requiring players to master their weapon mechanics and positioning skills. Upon death, players lose all currently carried equipment and gold but can unlock new characters and permanent stat bonuses to aid in subsequent adventures.
