Story Background

The Shan Hai Realm is a world where gods, demons, and humans coexist. In ancient times, the Celestial Emperor, the supreme ruler of the heavens, and Xing Tian, the rebel of the earthly realm, were locked in relentless warfare, their flames of battle scorching the land, all for the right to rule the Shan Hai Realm. Ultimately, Xing Tian was defeated and sealed beneath Mount Kunlun.

However, neither the Celestial Emperor nor Xing Tian could truly destroy the other. Xing Tian's remaining followers scattered, seeking a way to free him. To suppress Xing Tian, the Celestial Emperor became bound to Mount Kunlun, unable to leave. This led to the corruption of divine authority in the heavens, with the various feudal lords growing disloyal and ambitious.

Amidst this turmoil, a prophecy began to circulate: "The Chosen One, the Lord of Shan Hai." Capable individuals and those with unusual talents across the realm either claimed the title for themselves, searched for this figure, or dismissed it as nonsense. The situation in Shan Hai grew increasingly turbulent and chaotic.
