Game Introduction

Dig or Die is a sandbox adventure game that blends tower defense, survival, and building elements. Players take on the role of a spaceship survivor who has crash-landed on a mysterious alien planet. To survive and ultimately repair the ship to escape, you must dig for resources, construct fortifications, craft weapons, and defend against waves of native creatures that attack at night.

Core Gameplay

- Digging & Gathering: Venture deep underground to mine various ores and resources used for construction and crafting.
- Building & Defense: Utilize terrain and materials to build sturdy bases, setting up turrets, traps, and other defensive structures to withstand nightly monster hordes.
- Crafting: Use workbenches to manufacture tools, weapons, equipment, and various building modules.
- Survival Challenges: Manage health, hunger, and oxygen (during underwater exploration) while contending with the day-night cycle and a dynamic weather system.
- Exploration & Combat: Explore vast surface areas and caves, battle diverse alien creatures, and uncover hidden secrets and rare resources.

- Intelligent Terrain & Physics System: Water, lava, and other elements dynamically affect terrain and structures, requiring clever planning.
- Dynamic Difficulty & Weather: Game difficulty adjusts dynamically based on progress, with weather events like rainstorms and sandstorms presenting additional challenges.
- Tech Progression: Research and unlock advanced technology trees to enhance survival and combat capabilities.
- Single-player/Co-op Mode: Play solo or team up with up to 4 players in online co-op to tackle survival challenges together.

Goal

Survive in the perilous alien environment, continuously strengthen yourself and your base, and ultimately repair the spaceship to complete the escape mission.
