Spellbook Demonslayers is a Vampire Survivors-like action RPG developed by Xendra Studio. Players take on the role of a mage wielding mysterious magic, standing up during the crisis of a demon army's invasion of the Cosmic Library. The game blends bullet hell shooting, roguelite elements, and character progression mechanics. Players must utilize a variety of powerful magical skills to annihilate endless waves of demons, defending this magical hall that contains infinite knowledge. The game supports Simplified Chinese and is currently in Early Access.

Gameplay

The core gameplay follows the classic Survivors-like formula: the player character attacks nearby enemies automatically, while the player must maneuver to dodge dense bullet patterns, collecting experience gems and resources to level up. As the game progresses, players can unlock and choose different magical skills, each of which can be strengthened and evolved through upgrades. Demonic enemies swarm in hordes, featuring a wide variety with different attack patterns. Players must move nimbly and strategically combine skills to meet escalating challenges.

During each run, players face crucial decisions: choosing complementary skills from many options or focusing on strengthening a specific magic school to form a specialized build. Skill upgrade paths are diverse; the same skill can develop into completely different effects, adding immense replay value. Furthermore, the game includes various random events and special stages, providing players with rich variety and surprises amidst tense survival combat.
