Gameplay

The game combines turn-based combat with grid-based exploration. Players move across dungeons composed of hexagonal grids, where each step may lead to encounters with enemies, treasure chests, shops, or random events. In combat, players consume energy to use cards from their hand to deal damage to enemies or provide buffs for themselves. Managing hand cards and resources effectively is key to victory.

The core gameplay loop consists of four stages: Exploration, Combat, Collection, and Decision-Making. While exploring the dungeon, players continuously acquire new cards, which they can choose to add to their deck or sell for gold. Victory in combat yields experience points and rewards. Shops allow players to purchase powerful cards or valuable items with gold. Random events test players' strategic judgment.

Players must defeat multiple layers of enemies and bosses within the dungeon to complete the adventure. Each chapter's boss possesses unique mechanics and challenges, requiring targeted deck construction to overcome. As the game progresses, players will unlock more heroes, cards, and hidden content, gradually uncovering the full story of the Roguebook.
